I don’t give many reviews but I will give a great review to a business that deserves one, and this hotel definitely deserves one. I was initially reluctant to book a stay here due to the 3.8 overall review, but I am so glad we gave this place a chance. Everyone without exception from the front desk, to the bar, and housekeeping is friendly and accommodating. Every space in this hotel is clean, the location is ideal for visiting Pitt, and we will definitely stay here again! Thank you to all the staff that made our visit a great stay

My son was sick and over a 5 week period I stayed here 26 nights . The staff was the most amazing kind staff of any hotel have ever stayed at . They went above and beyond to ensure that my family and I were taken care of and asked everyday how things were going and if we needed anything . Tanisha, Larry , Dalia , Mandy, Izzy, Joe are just a few of the names of the staff that were amazing . And there were others that I cannot remember the names off hand unfortunately . Bottom line my son is still recovering and I couldn’t have made it through the emotions without the staff of this hotel not to mention having to keep adding nights and the understanding of the situation . Thank you from the bottom of my heart and if anyone is in the area this is your place . Nice clean rooms, place to eat , nice back patio, AWESOME staff . Thank you thank you thank you

Absolutely loved my stay! I was here for four days and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was cleaned daily, and the breakfast buffet, lunch, and dinner all offered a great selection of food. The hotel is conveniently located near where I attended a conference and provides both garage parking and adjacent outdoor parking for larger vehicles. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

I fine establishment coming from myself, someone of high caliber. Breakfast wasn’t ideal. I prefer the buffet. Not this Starbucks slop. Staff were nice and so were the rooms. I own ten hotels across Pennsylvania and I would say there is a lot to learn from this one.

Very Impressive hotel! I recently stayed here for several nights. It felt newly remodeled and was very clean & modern. I loved having the Bistro on-site which was very convenient & food was great. What sets this location apart from other locations is the INCREDIBLE Service. If I could give you 10 Stars, I would. Izzy, Astrid, & Lily Rose in the Bistro gave prompt, friendly service. I appreciated their attention to detail & efficiency. Most impressive during my stay was Abraham at the Front Desk. I approached him several times throughout my stay with a few questions & every time he went above & beyond to help me. I observed him several times as he interacted with customers & his colleagues and every time he was exceptional. The way he speaks to & treats people, his demeanor, impeccable appearance, smile, customer service skills, follow through - I could go on & on. Abraham wrote the book on Customer Satisfaction and sets the bar high for what every employee at every hotel should strive for. Thank you, Abraham, and thank you Marriott.

Helpful, kind respectful. Came to Pittsburgh to take my mother to the Presbyterian hospital for testing and procedures so we stayed here because it came up as close and it is.... We needed some special accommodations which I had added to the reservation but they weren't able to do with one room so and the fastest way I've ever seen anybody give excellent service we were comped an additional room so that we could use both rooms to get what we needed. Most excellent service we've ever had a hotel!!! Also the rooms are a good decent size and nice and clean and smell nice and clean as well. The one and only thing that I could find if I really wanted in it pic was that the restaurant isn't really so much a restaurant as a bar with a couple of options to eat... So when we arrived hungry and tired we had to order food to be delivered but we ordered from a local Chinese restaurant that was delicious so it all worked out!

My wife, daughter, and I recently stayed two nights at this wonderful hotel for the Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game, and we were absolutely blown away by the service especially from Michael Wilmer, the Manager on duty the entire weekend. From the moment we arrived, Michael greeted every guest with genuine warmth and professionalism. He was sharply dressed and carried himself with a presence that made you feel like your experience truly mattered. Despite what appeared to be an incredibly busy weekend with 3 or 4 wedding parties in the building he never missed a beat. What stood out most was his ability to manage the hotel so seamlessly, as if he owned it himself. He checked in with guests, solved issues on the fly, and led the team with calm confidence. I’ve stayed at many Marriott properties across the U.S. and internationally, but the level of service Michael provided was on a whole other level. Marriott, you truly have a gem in Michael Wilmer. It’s rare to see this kind of top-tier customer service anymore. He was a one-man army who ensured every guest was taken care of. When I visit any business, I pay close attention to customer service and Michael checked all the boxes and more. If you’re planning to stay anywhere in the Pittsburgh area, make this your top choice. You will not be disappointed. Thank you, Michael, for making our stay memorable we’ll absolutely be back!
